SCIENCE FESTIVAL: Skeletons in the closet at St John’s

For hundreds of years anatomists, archaeologists, and artists have been interested in the most durable part of the human body: our bones. From Margaret Beaufort’s book of hours to the photography of Samuel Butler, the special collections of St John’s College include unique examples of this human fascination with skeletons. Come and explore medieval manuscripts, photographs and ‘medicinal’ animal bones in the beautiful surroundings of one of the oldest libraries in Cambridge.
