Over the last ten years, the Illicit Antiquities
Research Centre has published and spoken widely on many aspects of
our work.
In addition to our newsletter, Culture Without Context, our publications include books, reports, and articles, both popular and academic. We have organised and contributed to national and international exhibitions designed to raise awareness about illicit antiquities, and also organised conferences on the subject. We have been invited to deliver many lectures and attend conferences around the world, and are frequently asked to contribute to television and radio documentaries and newspaper and magazine reports both in the UK and internationally. Members of the IARC have also arranged research projects to gather data on aspects of the illicit trade. We maintain extensive cuttings and news archives, and have a dedicated library on illicit antiquities. We also have a collection of images, some of which are available for use in suitable publications through our image bank. Last updated September 2006 |
