Common People - Sue Oosthuizen features in British Archaeology
Dr Susan Oosthuizen, University of Cambridge Senior Lecturer, Academic Director for Historic Environment (landscapes and gardens) at the Institute of Continuing Education and Member of the McDonald Institute features in British Archaeology issue 128 January/February 2013. Dr Oosthuizen believes that the British habit of consensus in decision-making goes back to prehistoric times and the Journal will publish a feature on her current research.
Dr Oosthuizen says "The fundamental values underlying the practice of prehistoric and medieval rights of common reflect many of the same values and beliefs that we consider to be at the core of Britishness today."
