Budding archaeologists from eight months to eighty years plus are invited to discover how our prehistoric ancestors lived and thrived.  Try your hand at 'hunting' with a spear thrower or bow and arrow, bread-making Neolithic- style or making your own rock art and pottery.  See demonstrations such as flint knapping, metal smelting and fabric dyeing together with a Viking re-enactment group.

Held in a field, out of doors, bring warm clothing and suitable footwear.

Showcasing research highlights and outreach from the academic year 2014-2015
